After Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday is #GivingTuesday, an international day of philanthropy on November 29th.
Help us start a wave of giving!
Now more than ever, there is an incredible need to experience the joy of the arts.
We invite you to join us in celebrating #GivingTuesday by making your tax-deductible donation to the Vancouver International Children’s Festival Society’s Good Neighbours Program (Tax receipts provided for every $20.00).
For many families, a day at the Children’s Festival is not possible due to financial constraint. So to ensure we can provide tickets to as many children as possible we created our Good Neighbour Program where donors can share the magic of the festival with children and parents who otherwise would not be able to attend. Each year with our community program the Festival distributes performance tickets at no cost to low income families across Metro Vancouver.
Arts and culture are an important and meaningful part of life and an integral piece of the unique tapestry that makes Vancouver so vibrant. With our community program, your generous gift will ensure that children from all economic backgrounds in our community experience the enriching performances and activities that only our Festival can offer. Year after year, Good Neighbours ticket recipients are awed and inspired by professional artists from around the world and get to engage in their own arts practice through hands-on arts and cultural activities. Many of our recipient families are refugees from war-torn countries – families who have seen much destruction and felt much heartache. With our community program, you can give them something to smile and laugh about.
Please help us to give even more children the opportunities to experience the joy of the arts by donating to our 2023 Good Neighbours Program.
On behalf of children throughout Metro Vancouver, I am grateful for the time you have taken to consider providing your charitable donation to our community program.
Your gift will help make more memories that will last forever for children in our community.
